This unpaid position offers a unique opportunity to work with one of Destin's premier watersports companies and dive into the exciting world of marketing and promotions.

Position Duration: Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend

At Boogies Watersports, we're all about making waves and creating unforgettable memories. Located in the stunning Destin, Florida, we offer a wide range of thrilling aquatic experiences since 1991, including:

• Dolphin Cruises: Get up close and personal with playful dolphins as you cruise along the Emerald Coast.
• Boat Rentals: Commandeer your own vessel and explore the beautiful waters of Destin Harbor, Norriego Point, or even relax at Crab Island.
• Parasailing: Soar above the Gulf of Mexico, taking in breathtaking views of the coastline and even spotting dolphins below.

As our Part-time Summer Marketing Intern, you'll have the unique opportunity to experience all these incredible services, capture stunning content that will be used for marketing purposes, and help us showcase the magic of Boogies Watersports to the world.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm, creativity, and a fervor for marketing.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Social media savvy and familiarity with popular platforms.
• A deep passion for boating and the watersports industry.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Access to reliable transportation for Visit Florida Welcome Center Trips.
• Vessel Livery Operator's Online Course passed before the internship begins.
• Florida Boating Safety Education I.D. Card issued if born on or after January 1, 1988.

Responsibilities

Facebook Groups:

• Circulate information about Boogies Watersports through engaging posts, comments, and affiliate links.

Live Chat:

• Assist in transferring chats to Hut Girls (our team managing sales and check-ins) when applicable.
• Take care of website live chat users, providing them with excellent service.

Manage Social Media Accounts:

• Create captivating content that resonates with our audience.
• Handle messaging and responding to inquiries promptly.
• Schedule and post engaging content to boost our online presence.

Online Reviews:

• Keep a close eye on online reviews across platforms like Google and Tripadvisor.
• Ensure that no reviews are left unattended.
• Share feedback on potential issues observed and propose solutions to enhance our services.

Visit Florida Welcome Center Trips:

• Embark on exciting trips to Florida Welcome Centers to promote Boogies Watersports.
• Showcase our offerings, engage with travelers, and make our mark in the tourism industry.
