Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida is thrilled to celebrate its 36th Birthday this November. For 36 years, our organization has been guiding local youth toward confidence, stability, and success through meaningful one-to-one mentoring relationships. To honor this milestone, we are launching "36 Degrees of Impact," a campaign inviting supporters to be one degree of impact in shaping the future of Northwest Florida's youth. Each degree represents an act of support — one donation, one volunteer, one business partner — all helping guide local youth toward brighter futures. Together, these degrees form a compass of mentorship that continues to shape lives across Northwest Florida.
This year, supporters have an even greater opportunity to make an impact. Thanks to the generosity of the Arby's Foundation, every donation made throughout the campaign will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $20,000, doubling the impact for local children.
"Every gift, big or small, helps us guide the next generation toward success," said Paula Shell, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida. "By participating, our supporters become part of the compass that points youth toward opportunity, confidence, and hope."
How You Can Be One Degree of Impact:
• In honor of our 36th Birthday, consider giving $360, $36, or $3.60 — every amount is DOUBLED and makes a huge difference.
• Encourage your business, family, or friends to join and become a degree of impact.
• Share the story of mentorship and inspire others.
