Fish Window Cleaning®, the nation’s premier window cleaning service, is thrilled to announce its Destin, Fla., location is celebrating the first anniversary of its meaningful partnership with United Way Emerald Coast. For the past year, the crew has been offering free window cleaning to the charity as a way to give back to the community.
It is one of the many initiatives of Fish Window Cleaning Franchisee Danica LaFaire, who is always looking for ways to integrate her company into the local area.
“When I heard what United Way Emerald Coast was doing for our neighbors, I just knew this was a partnership we wanted to establish,” said LaFaire. “They have unique and specific programs that are tailored to our population. It’s a very thoughtful organization, and we are proud to play a small part in helping them save a little money and keep their facility beautiful.”
United Way Emerald Coast supports “ALICE,” which helps hardworking taxpayers in the area who are struggling to make ends meet. The nonprofit also provides the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) which connects volunteers 55 and older with the community’s most pressing needs as well as other meaningful engagement opportunities for local companies, individuals, and non-profits.
“United Way lines up perfectly with our values at Fish Window Cleaning,” LaFaire said. “We believe in fairness, kindness, respect, and doing the right thing. It’s definitely what this fine organization does every day.”
“We are grateful to our partnership with Fish Window Cleaning,” said Kelly Jasen, President and CEO of United Way Emerald Coast. “Just the act of keeping our windows clean is such a huge help and allows us to focus our efforts on serving the community. We are incredibly grateful to Danica and her team for their generous support of our work.”
