“We are proud to support the projects of our four 2023 Grant Recipients. Each of them is making a tremendous impact in our community and touching the lives of those underserved in Okaloosa and Walton counties,” said Impact100 Northwest
Florida president Carly Barnes. “The $400,000 we awarded at our Annual Meeting was made possible by the generous women who make up our membership.”
The concept behind Impact100 is simple: For every 100 members making a $1,000 donation a $100,000 grant is formed. The organization has no limit on the number of members that can join and looks to engage women throughout Okaloosa and
Walton counties.
Since the creation of Impact100 Northwest Florida in 2012, the group has granted 42 grants totaling over $4.5 million to local nonprofit groups in the area. One hundred percent of each member contribution is awarded to nonprofit
organizations, with none of that contribution going to administrative costs of the organization.
The mission of Impact100 of Northwest Florida, Inc. is to financially support nonprofit organizations in Okaloosa and Walton Counties by empowering women as philanthropists and leaders, by bridging the geographic areas of our region, and by leveraging the talents of diverse women to be a positive force for good in our communities.
