The Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center (ECCAC) officially announced that Lee Curtis has joined their team as the non-profit’s head of Marketing and Donor Advancement. In this role, she will be leading the marketing efforts of ECCAC’s Centers in Okaloosa and Walton Counties and will be closely working with their donors.
A native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Curtis has lived along the Emerald Coast for the past 19 years. With a degree in Business Administration, she worked in the banking world with Regions Bank as an individual private banker and a branch manager for 12 years. Before joining ECCAC, Curtis was a Realtor with Pinnacle Beach Properties.
Highly active in the community, she has served on the board of directors of the Walton Area Chamber, as well as serving as the chamber’s Chairman of Mentoring Emerald Coast. Curtis was also on the board of the Junior League of the Emerald Coast, and worked with Seaside School activities.
“Giving back and helping those in need is vital to our community,” said Curtis. “I am thrilled to join ECCAC and help them achieve their mission of addressing child abuse through collaborative intervention, prevention education and awareness.”

ECCAC’s two Centers house representatives from the Florida Department of Children and Families, Child Protection Team, State Attorney’s Office, local law enforcement, licensed mental health counselors, and ECCAC’s staff and volunteers. In the past 22+ years, ECCAC has provided more than 170,000 services at no cost to over 15,000 children who have been abused, neglected or assaulted.
