Local Men Support Women Battling Breast Cancer with New Fundraising Campaign Men Fore Her, in Honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Local nonprofit organization Fore Her launches a special fundraising campaign “Men Fore Her,” where local men have been invited to take action and show their support for women facing breast cancer by raising funds during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Men Fore Her will kick off with a gathering for participants on Sept. 16, at the Courtyard by Marriott Sandestin, where Men Fore Her will receive their fundraising packets complete with tools and resources to start their campaign. A wrap-up celebration will take place on Thursday, Nov. 6, where these men’s fundraising efforts will be celebrated and recognized.

Any amount raised, big or small, will help provide meaningful support to women and men facing breast cancer. Fundraising is not limited to online efforts, as men may host special events and other in-person efforts to help their mission.

“I’m truly honored to be part of the Men Fore Her campaign. This cause is close to my heart, and it’s about so much more than raising funds—it’s about standing shoulder to shoulder with our community to ensure that breast cancer patients receive the care, compassion, and support they deserve,” says Jason Daniel, Men Fore Her participant.

Funds raised by Men Fore Her will go straight to making a tangible impact for women and men undergoing breast cancer treatments in Northwest Florida. Fore Her is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit foundation founded in memory of individuals lost to breast cancer and dedicated to providing financial assistance and emotional support to those who need it most.

Since 2023, Fore Her distributed over $185,000 to local breast cancer patients in need - helping cover essential expenses such as rent, mortgages, utilities, insurance and more.  This direct support allows breast cancer patients to focus on healing instead of worrying about how to make ends meet during the most difficult time of their lives.
