Holi Announces Holiday Food Drive Benefiting Local Food Banks

In the spirit of giving and gratitude, Holi, a local Indian restaurant with locations in Panama City, Fort Walton Beach, and Miramar Beach, is excited to announce how they plan to give back to the community this year. This holiday season Holi will host a non-perishable and canned food drive spanning all three of its locations, each benefitting a different local hunger relief organization. The drive begins November 1, 2023, and ends December 23, 2023.

Holi’s Fort Walton Beach location will be partnering with the local emergency food bank, Sharing & Caring, which supplies food to local families, children, seniors, the homeless, and those who are unemployed. Sharing & Caring is mainly a volunteer-run organization that provides food services every 15 days to those in need.

Holi’s Panama City location will be teaming up with A Hand Up, a local non-profit that provides food and resources to families, children, and veterans throughout the area. A Hand Up is hosting a variety of events this holiday season where they will distribute food, supplies, and even toys and gifts so those in need can enjoy their holidays.

Holi’s Miramar Beach location is paired with Destin Harvest, an Okaloosa and Walton county-based organization that collects and distributes non-perishable and canned food to soup kitchens, food pantries, and homeless shelters throughout the area.

Patrons are invited to participate in Holi’s efforts this holiday season by bringing non-perishable and canned food items to receive 20% off their meal. To make the donation process as convenient as possible, labeled boxes will be placed in each of Holi’s locations for the collection of donated items.
