Today, Omni Broadcasting announced the Caring Christmas Food Drives presented by 100.3 KROCK and Florida Power & Light Company.
“With the current economic state, our local families are in need,” said Rik Wolfe, Station Manager at Omni Broadcasting.
“FPL is always looking for ways to give back to the communities we serve, and help make them even better places to live, work and raise our families,” said Bernard Johnson, External Affairs Manager at FPL. “We’re honored to be a part of this year’s Caring Christmas Food Drive and to partner with 100.3 KROCK to help those in need this holiday season.”
Community Impact:
There are over 400 homeless people in the Fort Walton Beach area. And upwards of 50 families have no secured place to spend the night.
“We want to help anyone who needs it,” said Schuyler Black, Sales Manager and Mornings Host at 100.3 KROCK. “We can’t be too busy to lend a hand, especially at this time of the year.”
Events Dates:
100.3 KROCK will be at the following locations broadcasting live and collecting non-perishables for local food banks. Friday 12/2 at Grocery Outlet in Niceville from 3-5. Friday 12/9 at Winn Dixie Destin from 3-5. Friday 12/16 at Piggly Wiggly in Mary Esther from 3-5.
