On Nov. 15, RE/MAX Coastal Properties celebrated a ribbon cutting in recognition of its 36 years in business and its building's 50-year history as Destin's first real estate office. The building was first constructed by Destin real estate pioneer John Cox in 1973.
Owners Ed and Terri Smith are licensed real estate brokers, as well as having earned the professional designations of ABR (Accredited Buyer Representatives), CRS (Certified Residential Specialists), CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Experts), and CLHMS (Certified Luxury Specialists).
Ed and Terri are founders of RE/MAX on the Emerald Coast and personally opened all three of the first RE/MAX offices in Destin and Fort Walton Beach. They currently own RE/MAX Coastal Properties in Destin. They have been honored by RE/MAX of Florida with the Outstanding Achievement Award and also as Florida Broker/Owners of the year.
