The Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island to Host Family-Friendly Halloween Event Featuring Local Community Partners

The Boardwalk on Okaloosa IslandThe Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island is gearing up for a thrilling Halloween celebration filled with fun and excitement for all ages. Join in on Thursday, Oct. 31, from 5-8 p.m., for a night of trick-or-treating, live entertainment, carnival games, costume contests, and more!

 
The evening starts with guests receiving a Treasure Map and a Kids Eat Free voucher at The Boardwalk's Main Entrance. Participants will follow the map to visit each merchant for a unique "X," and upon completion, they can drop off their map at The Crab Trap for a special treat.
 
Highlights of the event include:
Star Wars Parjai Squad Characters strolling through the Parking Lot Walkabout Parade, offering great photo opportunities.
DJ Mantra spins tunes and keeps the spooky vibes alive throughout the night.
Captain Davy + Kirby-Jake and The Crossbones bring pirate shenanigans, magic, and mayhem to Al's Beach Club & Burger Bar from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Live performances by stilt walkers, jugglers, and balloon artists add extra flair to the event.
The Parking Lot Walkabout Parade featuring local participants such as Grow Your Gift Conservatory of Music, Setco Services, Elite Beach Living, 501st Legion – Parjai Squad, Panhandle United Roller Derby, Okaloosa Island Fire Department, Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park, Fort Walton Beach Public Library, Okaloosa County Beach Safety, Emerald Coast Parrot Heads Club, Little Adventures, Emerald Coast Science Center, HCA Florida Fort Walton Destin Hospital, Planet Painting 24/7, Luminary Entertainment, and The Island Resort.
 
The night will close with a Grand Finale Fireworks Show at 8 p.m., ensuring a spectacular end to the Halloween festivities. The event is free and open to the public, with a wide range of activities for everyone to enjoy, ensuring that all are welcome and included in the Halloween fun.
