WWMC Employee Celebrates 55 Years of Service

The White-Wilson Medical Center Board of Directors recognized Imaging Technician Hank Taylor with the Lifetime Service Award during its quarterly shareholder meeting on May 2. Taylor will retire May 14 after more than 55 years with White-Wilson.  

“We are beyond grateful for the hard work and dedication Mr. Taylor has put into our organization,” said White-Wilson CEO Alan Gieseman. “His exemplary technical skills, volunteerism and service have made him a role model to many, and his lasting impact will be felt for years to come.”  

Taylor began working at White-Wilson in 1968 and has seen a lot of changes in how health care, particularly imaging and X-RAY technology, has evolved over the decades. No matter the equipment available to him, Taylor is known for his calming demeanor and professionalism and established a reputation of compassion. While being acknowledged for his contributions, he emphasized the importance of attitude and how a positive attitude is behind his dedication to his work and commitment to patients. 

Gieseman further noted, “While we will surely miss his presence in our clinics, we wish him all the best as he begins his well-deserved retirement.”
